Future History Mobile Stop visited Poznań
29 May 2023 On 29 May 2023, we opened the Future History Mobile Stop on the premises of School Complex No. 8 at 62 Jarochowskiego Street, which visited Poznań as part of a nationwide six-week tour.
The aim of the organisers of the mobile exhibition is to enable as many interested people as possible to see and experience first-hand the immersive educational projects offered by the Institute of National Remembrance and prepared on the basis of new technologies. The whole project is a continuation of the mobile showroom tour, which last year visited 20 towns and cities across the country. This activity also aims to provide equal access to technology. For the purpose of supporting teachers and facilitating the process of innovation in school education, we have created a series of podcasts entitled “Latest history, latest technology“, which can be accessed not only on Spotify, but also at the Future History Mobile Stop. In addition, visitors can, upon prior reservation, completely free of charge, familiarise themselves with:
- “Cyphers Game” – the first gaming project of the Institute of National Remembrance describing the course of the Polish-Bolshevik war and the influence of Polish cryptology on its victorious outcome,
- “Glider ’87” application, which brings one closer to the history of the secret Fighting Solidarity print shop in Wrocław,
- “Digital Heroes” project.
The event was opened by Tomasz Woźniak, Director of the School Complex No. 8, followed by speeches by Magdalena Hajduk, Director of the New Technology Division of the Institute of National Remembrance, Robert Gaweł, Wielkopolska Superintendent of Education, and dr hab. Rafał Reczek, Director of the Poznań branch of the Institute of National Remembrance. The ceremony was honoured by a performance by the school choir.
The Mobile Stop will be available in Poznań until 9 June 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the premises of School Complex No. 8 at 62 Jarochowskiego Street. Sign up today!
