We now know the results of the first part of the HISTHACK competition.
Over the past few weeks, the Institute of National Remembrance has received a great number of interesting ideas for historical-educational computer game scenarios relating to the Polish history between 1917–1990. Teams from all over Poland entered the contest, the competition was fierce and the Jury had quite a problem choosing the Winners.
IPN representatives carefully considered all the entries and selected 16 teams to represent their schools on 13–14 April during the HISTHACK hackathon, which will be held at the “PGE Narodowy” National Stadium as part of the Congress of National Remembrance. This selection was not an easy task, as all the works were of a very high standard. The selected scenarios were detailed, contained many historical facts and stood out for their educational value.
