Visit the Pomeranian Congress of National Remembrance
On November 20–21, 2024, the Pomeranian Congress of National Remembrance, organized by the Gdańsk branch of the Institute of National Remembrance, will take place at AmberExpo in Gdańsk. The event aims to present Poland’s modern history in a way that resonates with every generation.
“History speaks through generations” – the congress theme for this year
The team led by Dr. habil. Krzysztof Malicki has presented the report Education for Remembrance, which reveals that students prefer active and dynamic methods of learning history. Under the theme History speaks through generations, the congress will present the past in a modern and engaging way to reach both older audiences, who vividly remember the challenging 20th century, and younger generations, who learn through new technologies, multimedia, and interactive activities.
