The New Technology Division attends the County Science Festival in Mława

On June 4, the 8th edition of the Science Festival was held at the Stanisław Wyspiański High School in Mława. The New Technology Division had the pleasure of co-creating the event by showcasing its portfolio of immersive educational games. This day will undoubtedly be remembered for a long time by all participants of the Festival.

The event was coordinated by Anna Brzozowska and Ewa Katarzyna Luks from the Society of Admirers of Tekla Bądarzewska’s Work. Among those in attendance were the authorities of Mława, Mazovian Education Superintendent Wioletta Krzyżanowska, author of the publication “Nie będziecie się za mnie wstydzili” (“You Won’t Be Ashamed of Me”) Maria Luberadzka-Cobas, Anna Brzozowska and Ewa Katarzyna Luks, Professor Tadeusz Korzybski’s grandniece Blanka Wyszyńska-Walczak, the school administration and teachers of the high school, a delegation from The New Technology Division, and local students.

This year’s Festival was celebrated under the theme “For those who serve the homeland, the path to heaven is open.” During the official segment, a virtual museum dedicated to Professor Tadeusz Korzybski was unveiled, alongside presentations of competition-winning projects and profiles of Witold Jaroszyk and Tadeusz Korzybski. The event also included an artistic program and speeches by invited guests.

Following the official portion, attendees participated in educational contests, scientific experiments, artistic exhibitions, workshops, and visited the New Technology Zone.

The New Technology Zone at the 8th Science Festival in Mława

The space created by the New Technology Division showcased all available IPN immersive educational games. Inspired by the figure of Witold Jaroszyk, a pilot of the 301st Bomber Squadron, the game “Aviators” garnered the most attention. This game highlights the achievements of Polish aviators serving during World War II.

The Zone was equipped with PC and VR stations. All guests had the opportunity to explore the theme of immersive historical education and experience how effective learning through games and applications can be. It was gratifying to see not only young people visiting the New Technologies Zone but also older participants engaging enthusiastically.

We extend our heartfelt thanks for the invitation and the opportunity to present the New Technology Zone at this year’s Science Festival. It was a wonderful occasion for exchanging inspiration, mutual learning, and building connections.
