THE FUTURE HISTORY MOBILE STOP ON ITS WAY TO POLISH CITIES
Starting from 12 May, we encourage you to visit the Future History Mobile Stop. During the six-week tour, the exhibition will visit three cities, where it will be possible to see the projects prepared by the IPN’s New Technology Division free of charge, only upon prior reservation.
The Mobile Stop will be inaugurated on 12 May in Olsztyn as part of the Night of Museums. All those interested in the exhibition are invited from 6.00 p.m. to 1.00 a.m. Our Future History Mobile Stop will be located at the car park of the University of Warmia and Mazury located at 1 Obitza Street (right next to the Faculty of Humanities). Our visitors will be able to not only play the “Cyphers Game” – an innovative gaming project created by the Institute of National Remembrance, but also experience the “Szybowcowa ’87” project, which brings one closer to the history of the secret Fighting Solidarity print shop in Wrocław, as well as listen to educational podcasts aimed primarily at teachers. In addition, visitors to the Mobile Stop will be able to listen to the memoirs of Andrzej Gwiazda and Krzysztof Wyszkowski about their activities in the anti-communist opposition, collected as part of the implementation of the innovative “Digital Heroes” project. The exhibition in Olsztyn will be available until 22 May 2023 from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. (and on the opening night as part of the European Night of Museums from 6.00 p.m. 1.00 a.m.).
The next stop on the mobile exhibition tour will be Poznań. The Future History Mobile Stop will be available in this city from 29 May to 9 June from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. The third and final city we will visit will be Gdańsk. We will be waiting for our visitors from 12 to 25 June from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. The exact locations for Poznań and Gdańsk will be announced soon.
Admission to the Future History Mobile Stop is free of charge if you sign up in advance. Underage persons should bring the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
