The Future History Mobile Stop in Myślenice
From September 9 to September 11, the market square in Myślenice hosted an exhibition of all the games and applications from the New Technology Division. Thanks to the The Future History Mobile Stop anyone interested could participate in an immersive history lesson completely free of charge.
Press Conference in Myślenice
The press conference took place at 11:00 on the market square in Myślenice, right in front of The Future History Mobile Stop. Among the audience were students from Primary School No. 1 named after Juliusz Słowacki in Myślenice, the media, and local residents.
The conference was led by Michał Masłowski, head of the National Education Office of the IPN (Institute of National Remembrance) in Kraków. The attendees included: the mayor of the Town and Municipality of Myślenice, Jarosław Szlachetka, deputy director of the New Technology Division at IPN, Adrianna Paradowska, director of the IPN Branch in Kraków, Dr. Filip Musiał, and director of the Museum of Independence in Myślenice, Dr. Łukasz Malinowski.
During the conference, attention was drawn to the potential of modern historical education and the opportunities provided by learning through new technologies. Director Adrianna Paradowska gave a tour of the interior of the Mobile Stop, explaining the details of the projects being presented.
Unfavorable Weather – Favorable Atmosphere
Despite the bad weather, the residents of Myślenice showed up in great numbers and in high spirits. The smiling faces of the guests indicated that the Mobile Stop was vibrant with activity even in the rain. Visitors got a closer look at all the projects from the New Technology Division and immersed themselves in modern historical education.
