“The Cyphers Game”: continuation in Opole Lubelskie
The mobile showroom has gained such momentum that – after completing a tour through all the provinces – it is continuing its mission to popularise the “Cyphers Game” among young people throughout Poland. On 28 November 2022, it appeared at the Kornel Makuszyński Primary School No. 1 in Opole Lubelskie, and this was no accident. Recently, on 5 September, at the same school, the Director of the Lublin Branch Office of the Institute of National Remembrance, Dr Robert Derewenda, inaugurated an open-air exhibition entitled: “September 1939”. Today, the New Technology Division of the Institute of National Remembrance presented its unique product, “The Cyphers Game”.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Opole Lubelskie Slawomir Plis, the Principal of Primary School No. 1 Ilona Majak-Gierczak and Dr Derewenda, who had come to Opole again. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., gaming stations with the “Cyphers Game” were available to anyone who wanted to play, including organised groups: pupils from Primary School No. 1 and Adam Mickiewicz Secondary School of General Education in Opole Lubelskie.
Media coverage was provided by the Lublin divisions of Polish Television and Polish Radio.
