The “Cyphers Game” and board games in Supraśl

The mobile showroom’s stay in picturesque Supraśl on 18 October 2022 was exceptionally successful. The “Cyphers Game” could be found at a stand located on ul. Kościelna next to the Holy Trinity Church from 10 am to 4 pm. Groups of students from the School and Kindergarten Complex in Ogrodniczki and from the Artur Grottger State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Supraśl visited the designated place. In total, almost 100 people passed through the showroom.  Visitors enjoyed substantive support from Waldemar Tyszuk of the IPN Białystok Branch Office of National Education.

The Białystok Branch Office of the IPN, represented in person by Director Piotr Kardela, PhD, and OBEN Head Urszula Gierasimiuk, organised yet another exceptional attraction: while waiting to enter the showroom, everyone could take the opportunity to play traditional board games, published by our Institute, in the nearby Community House. The mobile showroom crew experienced genuine borderland hospitality. In addition to the youth, we were also visited by representatives of the local community, including Dr Bogusława Szczerbińska, the Deputy Governor of the Podlaskie Voivodeship, Dr Radosław Dobrowolski, the Mayor of Supraśl, Dr Łukasz Łapiński, the Director of the Supraśl Cultural and Leisure Centre, and even soldiers from the 1st Podlaskie Territorial Defence Brigade named after Brigade General Władysław Liniarski, alias “Mścisław”.
