Second Day of the HISTHACK Finals

On the first day, the teams familiarized themselves with the proposed tasks and got to work. A prize quiz also took place that day. Now the second day of the programming marathon is coming to an end. The teams are finishing their work and preparing to present their results.

16 Hours of Work — Teams Complete Their Projects

From Monday to Tuesday, eight hours each day. That’s how much time the finalists had to work on their chosen topic. They will present their results on Thursday—at 9:00 a.m., the order of presentations will be drawn.

At the moment the clock strikes 5:00 p.m., the teams will stop working and finish uploading their projects to a dedicated platform. This is one of the most important moments of the entire event. All the work the finalists have invested in their projects will culminate in a five-minute presentation and the jury’s deliberations after all the presentations have concluded.

It’s a long day for all participants. Since 9 a.m., you can constantly hear discussions, consultations with mentors, and the tapping of keyboards. The final hours of work are filled with tension and concentration. The stakes are high—prizes worth nearly 130,000 PLN—and every team wants to reach for the main award.

Ahead are the teams’ presentations showcasing their work, the announcement of the results, and the second additional prize competition. The third day of the competition will likely be the most exciting for the participants. We also can’t wait for day three!
