Representatives of the Educational Research Institute Visited the New Technologies Zone at the Central History Point

On 28 May, the team behind the Educational Research Institute’s project “Reception of Advanced E-Learning Materials and Games” visited the New Technologies Zone in Warsaw to explore the concept of immersive history education. For us, this meeting was not only an opportunity to showcase modern educational tools, but above all to discuss effective ways of engaging young people in learning history and developing future-oriented competencies.

Immersive History Education Through the Eyes of Experts

During their visit to the New Technologies Zone, we presented our educational projects that make use of virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and PC-based environments. Particular interest was generated by VR (Virtual Reality) technology, which allows participants to immerse themselves in historical settings and experience events from the perspective of their protagonists. Our guests highlighted the highly immersive nature of these experiences and their impact on the reception and understanding of educational content.

The experts focused not only on the technologies themselves but also on the way user experiences are designed. They showed particular interest in methods of engaging audiences and building compelling narratives, motivating users to further explore content, and combining education with elements of entertainment. The visit provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and observe practical solutions used in educational projects based on emerging technologies.

We would like to thank our guests for their visit, inspiring conversations, and interest in the activities of the New Technologies Zone. We hope that the solutions presented during the meeting will inspire further initiatives supporting the development of modern education in Poland.
