DISCOVER THE HISTORY OF THE POLISH AIR FORCE DURING WORLD WAR II
“Aviators” is an educational adventure game in the first-person mode, with a total length of gameplay estimated at 2-3 hours. The game contains arcade elements and logic puzzles. The plot is based on real events and characters of Polish airmen serving in the air during World War II. For the purposes of the game, the developer used some simplifications and added fictional situations and places, diversifying the entertainment. The game has implemented a Journal module, containing a compendium of historical knowledge to which the “Aviators” refer.

The game is divided into 6 missions, in which the protagonists are authentic characters:
Jan Zumbach, Stanisław Skalski, Anna Leska, Jadwiga Piłsudska, Leszek Owsiany, Lucjan Kretowicz, Witold Korwin-Łopuszański, Władysław Schöffer, Włodzimierz Bernhardt, Stefan Bohanes, Jan Lück, Grzegorz Denisienko.
FEEL THE MAGIC OF THE GAME’S SOUNDTRACK
“The Aviators’ Suite” is a complex series of compositions inspired by the genius of Karol Szymanowski and Mieczysław Karłowicz. Przemysław Treszczotka incorporates not only harmonic ideas and formal concepts into his original compositions but also directly includes quotes from the masterpieces of the mentioned composers.

MISSIONS
1. Baptism
Take on the role of Jadwiga Piłsudska. Learn about the design and purpose of the Handley Page Halifax MK 2/3 aircraft. Operate on-board equipment such as the radio, the deck cannon or the mechanic’s station and effectively repair the damage that occurs. Take on the attacking Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter and use your wits and logic.
2. Hangar
Take on the role of Jadwiga Piłsudska once again. Get your planes ready to fly, get to know Jan Zumbach’s office better and enjoy the elaborate scenography. With the opportunity to listen to the radio and watch British newsreels, you will immerse yourself in the world of aviators.
3. Tatra Mountains
Engage in authentic dialogue between the crew members of the 1586 Special Purpose Squadron’s Halifax. This dialogue took place during an aid mission for the Warsaw insurgents on the night of 16 to 17 August 1944.
4. Vistula
In this mission, as a member of the flight gunners of the Halifax aircraft piloted by Leszek Owsian, you fly over the Vistula riverbed all the way to Warsaw. The goal is to destroy German anti-aircraft emplacements.
5. Warsaw
The purpose of the “Warsaw” mission is to deliver airdrops with aid for the Warsaw insurgents. It is also an opportunity to look at the representation of burning Warsaw. The set design consists of a digital replica of Warsaw during the Uprising with such landmarks as the Prudential, Napoleon Square, the Old Town, the Cross-Town Bridge, the Royal Castle, the Łazienki Park and many more.
6. Homecoming
Take on the role of Vladimir Bernhardt. Jump out of a Halifax damaged by German fighters and establish contact with the local Home Army unit commanded by Zdzisław Straszynski “Meteor”. Fight your way through the area of German A2 fortifications, blow up the 8.8 cm gun emplacements and end the mission by escaping by car.
