Presentation of the projects of the New Technology Division using a mobile box in Lublin
On the occasion of Children’s Day, a presentation of projects by the New Technology Division took place in Lublin from 27.05 to 29.05. The most popular among visitors was the latest educational game “Aviators – War in the Skies”. In addition, the event was packed with various workshops, presentations, city games and talks.

Learning, fun, workshops, an immersive journey through Polish history and an opportunity to build memories. A Children’s Day event was organised in Lublin and, thanks to the mobile box with immersive historical education, all visitors had the opportunity to learn about the educational projects of the IPN’s New Technology Division.
The most popular among visitors was the latest educational game “Aviators – War in the Skies”. It tells the story of Polish pilots who took part in aerial combat during World War II. It has been developed in two versions – for computers and VR (virtual reality) devices. Since its international launch on 24 January in London, the game has already been downloaded more than 320,000 times from the Steam platform, and its popularity is not waning.
“Aviators”, like all other projects from the New Technology Division, is made available as a free download from the Steam platform.
The third edition of the “IPN Młodych” [IPN for the Young] educational project in Lublin
On 29 May 2024, from 8:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the third edition of the “IPN Młodych” educational project took place on the premises of the IPN Branch in Lublin. The event was packed with attractions such as:
- “History Seekers” workshop,
- presentation of uniforms and memorabilia of the 2nd Polish Corps,
- presentation of the exhibition “Trails of Hope. The Odyssey of Freedom”,
- escaperoom “To the rescue of Matejko” combined with an outdoor game,
- mobile city game “On the trail of activism and modernisation”.
In addition, during the event, visitors could participate in the presentation of a mobile box with immersive historical education and use it to take part in the immersive educational game “Aviators – War in the Skies”.
