Presentation of projects of the New Technology Division in Parzęczew during the conference “EduMeet – Education closer to the region”
On 25 and 26 April, the projects of the New Technology Division were presented in Parzęczew. This was one of the elements of the event “EduMeet – Education closer to the region”. Conference on education using games, artificial intelligence, and VR technology. Additionally, issues related to cyber threats and digital hygiene were discussed.
“EduMeet – Education closer to the region”, a technological and educational conference featuring the New Technology Division
“EduMeet – Education closer to the region” was an initiative promoting modern and interactive teaching methods. The event organisers also wanted to provide educational inspiration for young people and teachers.
The event consisted of two parts – an interactive exhibition in educational zones for primary school students and a conference for local government officials, school principals, representatives of educational institutions, and entrepreneurs. The first part took place at the Julian Tuwim Primary School in Parzęczew, the second one – in the Parzęczew Regional Development Centre.
EduMeet organisation, guests, agenda, and partners
The event featured many thematic panels, conferences, shows, and practical workshops. “EduMeet” was attended by Paulina Piechna-Więckiewicz – Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of National Education and vice-chairwoman of the New Left party.
The New Technology Division was represented by director Adrianna Paradowska, presenting a conference entitled “Immersive Education”. It featured a presentation of the projects of the New Technology Division and other results of its activities, as well as research results from the report “Immersive historical education – towards new educational paths”. The speeches were highly appreciated by the guests; they stimulated discussions and confirmed the interest in the development of modern forms of education.

The second day of the event:
- 9:00 a.m. – Opening of educational zones at the Julian Tuwim Primary School in Parzęczew for students of grades 4-8 of primary schools from the region
- 3:00 p.m. – Opening of educational zones for residents of the commune and region

It is worth noting that Google for Education is also a partner of the Bett Asia and Bett London 2024, where on 24 January, the New Technology Division premiered its latest educational project “Aviators – War in the Skies”. We are pleased that cooperation continues internationally, not only in Asia and various parts of Europe, but also in Poland.
“EduMeet” – an exhibition of educational multimedia solutions and games
During the conference “EduMeet – Education closer to the region”, participants could play educational games created by the New Technology Division, including:
- “Aviators – War in the Skies” – the action takes place during World War II. The missions are spectacular and based on real events.
- “Cyphers Game” – showing the still little-known achievements of Polish cryptologists. The player’s task is, among others, to crack the Bolshevik code and neutralise enemy armoured trains. The story takes place during the Polish-Soviet war in 1920.
- “Warsaw Rising” is a game in which the player takes on the role of a team commander and their task is to lead the team through 63 days of the Warsaw Uprising.
