Mobile showroom in the capital of Podhale – Nowy Targ

From the Pomeranian town of Czarne, the mobile schowroom moved to the south of Poland, to Nowy Targ in Podhale. The “Cypher Game” exhibition could be visited on 27 September 2022, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., in a vehicle stationed in the parking lot at the Town Ice Rink Centre. In addition to adult residents and families with children, the presentation was attended by students from the Soldiers of the Home Army Elementary School No. 11 in Nowy Targ, the Tatra Confederation Elementary School No. 5 in Nowy Targ, the First Grade Trade School of the Guild of Handicraft and Entrepreneurship in Zakopane and the Joseph Conrad Social Secondary School in Zakopane. An additional attraction was a “live” presentation by the KuK Sturmtruppen Historical Reconstruction Group of soldiers of the 1st Regiment of the Podhale Rifles in 1920 colours and equipment. After visiting the showroom, the students had the opportunity not only to view military exhibits but also to participate in a military drill conducted by reenactors.

Substantive support during the tour was provided by Mr. Krzysztof Pięciak of the Office of Search and Identification of the Institute of National Remembrance Branch in Kraków. At 1 p.m., there was an official speech addressed to the gathered students with the participation of Mr. Waldemar Wojtaszek, 1st Deputy Mayor of Nowy Targ, and Acting Deputy Director of the Institute of National Remembrance Branch in Kraków dr Michał Wenklar.
