Mobile showroom and a rover robot in Chełm

On 29 September 2022, the mobile showroom has come to Chełm. The “Cypher Game” exhibition, stationed at the premises of the Bug River Border Guard Division headquarters, was open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. We were visited by students from the Economic and Uniform School Complex in Chełm and the Uniform School Centre in Zamość.

On the same day, in the Hall of Tradition of the Bug River Border Guard, the official inauguration of the operation of the 30th “History Station” Educational Centre of the Institute of National Remembrance took place. In his speech, President of the Institute of National Remembrance dr Karol Nawrocki stressed that this is one of the places where we can think about the past “in the context of the present and the future.” Afterwards, participants in the ceremony visited the mobile showroom, where the past is also intertwined with modern technology and the challenges of the future. At 2 p.m., a demonstration of Border Guard operations took place in front of the building of the Bug River Border Guard – the gathered spectators (including a delegation from the Institute of National Remembrance with the President) watched, among other things, the actions of a special rover robot that secured and neutralised suspicious luggage.

Local media, including TVP3 Lublin, participated in the events.
