Mobile showroom and a new exhibition at the Małachowski Family Palace in Końskie
Końskie was another location for the one-day stay of the mobile showroom. On 11 October, visitors were able to experience the “Cyphers Game” in a beautiful location, that is, in the Municipal Park in front of the Town and Commune Office, located on the grounds of the historic palace and park complex. The game was demonstrated continuously from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and we were visited by pupils from the Emilia Plater Primary School No. 1 in Końskie, the Stanisław Staszic Primary School No. 2 in Końskie and the Home Army Primary School in Stadnicka Wola.
At 10 a.m., the President of the Institute of National Remembrance, dr Karol Nawrocki, together with the Mayor of Końskie, Krzysztof Obratański, welcomed the gathered guests: young people and representatives of the local community. Afterwards, delegations from the Institute of National Remembrance and local authorities went to the nearby Public Library to ceremonially open an exhibition dedicated to one of the heroic Polish WWII special force paratroopers (Pol. cichociemni). More about the exhibition can be accessed here.
Expert support was provided by dr Michał Zawisza from the Branch Office of National Education at the Kielce Sub-Branch of the Institute of National Remembrance. The close encounters with history in Końskie were covered by the media: Radio Plus, the Świętokrzyska TV channel, and the tkn24.pl and the Echo Dnia portals.
Come and visit our mobile showroom and experience the “Cyphers Game” in your neighbourhood!
