Mobile boxes with immersive historical education provide audiences with the opportunity to take part in all the educational games and applications of the New Technology Division, including those using VR (Virtual Reality). This is a modern and immersive solution to encourage young people to reach out to modern ways of learning history. The boxes in question come from demobilisation, meaning they really used to serve the army, in this case, to transport ammunition.
Thanks to the presentation of mobile boxes at the Museum, the Witold Pilecki schools convention offered not only traditional lectures and learning using the museum’s resources, but additionally young people were able to take part in immersive history lessons and engage in learning through a familiar digital environment.
By combining new technologies with traditional forms of learning, history education becomes more effective and efficient, and young people in whom curiosity and imagination have been stimulated continue to explore knowledge on their own.
