List of Laureates of the First Stage of the HISTHACK Competition

We already know the jury’s verdict! The second edition of the nationwide HISTHACK competition is entering its next stage. We would like to thank all teams for their participation and submissions. The laureates are invited to the Central Przystanek Historia in Warsaw, where the final stage of the competition will take place.

The Submission and Evaluation Stage Has Ended

In the first stage, teams prepared lesson plans in history using at least one educational pathway (the chosen pathway had to be specified in the submission). These pathways are described in the research reports “Immersive Historical Education – Toward New Educational Pathways” and “Immersive Historical Education – Where We Are and What Lies Ahead.”
Each project had to refer to a specific historical period in Poland between 1917 and 1989.

Congratulations to the Finalists

Selecting the best submissions was a real challenge. The participants presented a wide range of approaches to the theme, impressing the jury not only with creativity but also with maturity, precision, and attention to detail.
The exceptionally high standard of the entries is proof of the heart, time, and passion the contestants invested in their work. It is this level of dedication that makes HISTHACK such a valuable and inspiring event.
We extend our sincere thanks to all the teams that took part in the competition.

HISTHACK Final – November 4–6

The 16 best teams are invited to the Central Przystanek Historia at Marszałkowska 107, Warsaw. The final stage will take place there from November 4 to 6. During this time, teams will tackle a challenge revealed at the start of the event.

The final will also feature additional attractions, and all participants will have the chance to explore the New Technology Zone of the Central Przystanek Historia.

Finalists will receive funding of PLN 6,000 gross to cover accommodation expenses in Warsaw, allowing them to focus fully on the on-site hackathon.
