Kalisz: The Next Stop on The Future History Mobile Stop Tour

From September 21st to September 23rd, The Future History Mobile Stop will be hosted in Kalisz. Adrianna Paradowska, Deputy Director of the New Technology Division, participated in the press conference. The favorable weather complemented the educational atmosphere of the immersive history lessons.

The Future History Mobile Stop Welcomed by Crowds in Kalisz

Even before the official opening, guests gathered and registered for the immersive history lessons. From 10 AM to the late afternoon, all PC and VR stations were fully occupied. The largest number of visitors were families with children, who spontaneously registered for their visit while out for a weekend walk.

Press Conference with Adrianna Paradowska, Deputy Director of the New Technology Division

The press conference took place on the first day, Saturday. Participants included Artur Ossowski, Head of the National Education Office of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) in Łódź; Adrianna Paradowska, Deputy Director of the New Technology Division; Maciej Antczak, City Councilor; Grażyna Dziedziak, Head of the Department of Culture, Arts, Sports, and Tourism of Kalisz City Hall; and Sławomir Lasiecki, Chairman of the City Council.

During the conference, special attention was given to the long and rich history of Kalisz, with an emphasis on the Kalisz Statute of 1264, which shaped relations between the state and its Jewish subjects. In light of Polish-Jewish relations, the role of commemorating the altruistic actions of the Blessed Ulma Family was highlighted, through the film “Testimony of Help” presented at The Future History Mobile Stop. Additionally, the conference addressed the importance of shaping civic attitudes among youth.

Let us remind you that in Kalisz, Gostyń, and Sława, a collection of cleaning supplies is being held for those affected by the floods in Jelenia Góra and the surrounding areas. All collected donations will be delivered during the final stop of the tour in Jelenia Góra.
