Frontline stories 2025 with the ipn new technology division
From August 22 to 24, Porąbka hosted the Frontline Stories event. Throughout the entire weekend, visitors could explore the IPN New Technology Zone, and the event was honored by the presence of Adrianna Paradowska, Deputy Director of the IPN New Technology Division.

This year’s edition featured spectacular World War II battle reenactments, including Market Garden in Arnhem, as well as historical boxing shows. Everything was carried out in carefully controlled conditions, but the scale and dedication of the reenactors allowed visitors to almost feel as though they had traveled back in time.
However, Frontline Stories is not just about battle reenactments. It also offers a calm educational space and meaningful experiences beyond the battlefield – all free for visitors. The event included model and photography exhibitions, concerts, and evening campfires with music, creating a unique atmosphere of sharing history through emotions and a sense of community.
The program also featured technology-driven activities – such as the multimedia exhibition Sparks of Independence and the IPN New Technology Zone.
The New Technology Zone in Porąbka
The presence of the IPN New Technology Division proved that it is possible to successfully combine traditional education with a multimedia, modern approach – making historical education more accessible, engaging, and attractive for audiences of all ages.
At the IPN New Technology Zone, visitors could meet Director Paradowska, who gave talks on immersive historical education. She emphasized that the projects aim to promote knowledge of Polish history in an engaging and approachable way for younger generations. She also highlighted the importance of maintaining high content quality in educational games.
Visitors could explore the entire portfolio of the IPN New Technology Division – with projects available both for PC and VR (virtual reality). The zone also presented research reports on the use of digital technologies in education. The IPN zone attracted significant interest from visitors – both from those already familiar with the Division’s initiatives and those encountering them for the first time.
