First working meeting of the Metawersum Committee

On 12 September 2023, the first working meeting of the Metawersum Committee was held at Mindspace in Warsaw, organized by the Digital Poland Association and Meta. The committee consists of a large group of experts, technology enthusiasts and digital industry representatives, including the Director of the New Technology Division of the Institute of National Remembrance, Magdalena Hajduk.

The meeting was held to discuss the strategy and directions for the development of Metawersum technology in Poland. The Committee Chairman, Andrzej Horoch, led the audience through an extensive programme of activities, presenting the framework and assumptions for the initiative of establishing the committee. During the meeting, a number of key issues were raised regarding the development of Metawersum in Poland, including opportunities for cooperation between the business and public sectors. The gathered experts had the opportunity to share their ideas and tips that will contribute to the further development of this exciting area of technology.

The Digital Poland Association and Meta are pleased to continue working together in an effort to create innovative solutions in the area of Metawersum. The first working meeting of the Metawersum Committee was one of the many challenges that lie ahead as we move forward into this exciting digital future – but also an active time for committee members to discuss and prototype the opportunities and threats of the evolving technology.
