Director Magdalena Hajduk visits the Jagiellonian University during the National Reunion of History Students
Director Magdalena Hajduk representing the New Technology Division at the Institute of National Remembrance delivered a speech at the Witkowski College during the National Reunion of History Students on Friday, 24 May. The reunion in Cracow is a scientific and team-building event aiming at presenting and popularizing results of historical research achieved on the basis of young researchers’ work and effort.
A speech entitled “Immersive Education” at the 29th edition of the National Reunion of History Students at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow
Director Magdalena Hajduk addressed topics relevant for historical education, talked about ways of reaching young people and the role played by new technology in teaching and learning history.
A report entitled “Immersive Historical Education – towards new educational paths” published in 2022 was a starting point for the speech. The report proves that digital solutions create new learning possibilities, thus becoming an effective way to diversify and personalize the process of acquiring knowledge.
29th edition of the National Reunion of History Students at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow
The reunion is 5 days long – from 20 to 25 May. The event addresses topics related to anthropological and social history, theory of history, historiography and historical education. The reunion participants can take part in conference panels and activities planned, take advantage of invitations to facilities and institutions associated with the presence of history in the public domain.
