We invite young people and adults to a unique event in the New Technology Zone of the IPN Central History Point. On August 1-3, on the anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, we are organizing days with the educational strategy game “Warsaw Rising”.
Celebrations of the “Warsaw Uprising” in the New Technology Zone
Join the immersive celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising at the Central History Point. From August 1 to 3, in the New Technology Zone, you will play the moving game “Warsaw Rising”, in which you will take on the role of an insurgent, learn the orders and appeals of the commanders, and find out how they affected the course of the battles.
For guests visiting the New Technology Zone at the Central History Point from August 1 to 3, we will be giving away 3 Orb X gaming capsules and 8 mobile boxes with immersive historical education. The educational strategy game “Warsaw Rising” will be presented at all stands. Take part in commemorating the anniversary of the outbreak of the “Warsaw Uprising” and visit the Central History Point at Marszałkowska 107.

Thanks to the game “Warsaw Rising”, you will understand the genesis and conditions of the decision to start the Warsaw Uprising. You will get to know the perspective of the insurgents and lead them through increasingly difficult battles with the occupier. Will you manage to survive all the days of the uprising? The fate of the fighters is in your hands.
During the turn-based battle, you choose between healing team members and attacking the enemy. Decide whether to carry outside missions or whether helping civilians is worth the risk? Try your hand at “Warsaw Rising” and learn through experience.
In addition, on the spot in the New Technology Zone, you will check your knowledge in a quiz based on the game “Warsaw Rising”. Thanks to this, you will see how effectively immersive historical education affects you. Don’t worry if the quiz didn’t go your way. You can always return to the stand and try again.

The New Technology Zone of the Central History Point is in the very center of Warsaw, in the shadow of the historic PAST building, within the streets through which the heroes of the game “Warsaw Rising” move. Thanks to this, you will feel the atmosphere of those days and be transported back in time to 1944.
