The celebrations marking the 83rd anniversary of the transformation of the Union of Armed Struggle (ZWZ) into the Home Army (AK) were held at the Social Activation Center in Opole.
The event was divided into two parts: a discussion session and a workshop.
The discussion began with a screening of the IPN documentary “The Home Army – An Army Like No Other.” Following the screening, Helena Kamerska, a medic during the Warsaw Uprising, shared her poignant memories, prompting deep reflections among the attendees about the historical events.

The workshop part of the event revolved around the use of mobile cases showcasing educational projects from the New Technology Division. Special attention was given to the game “Warsaw Rising,” which delves into the story of the Warsaw Uprising. The game educates about Poland’s history, fosters civic attitudes, and develops empathy and logical thinking. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to decorate fabric bags with the emblem of Fighting Poland by hand.
