Another presentation of mobile boxes and projects of the IPN’s New Technology Division

On 10 and 11 April 2024, students of the Eliza Orzeszkowa Vocational School Complex in Sokółka had the opportunity to become familiar with mobile boxes designed for immersive history education and gaming educational projects of the New Technology Division of the Institute of National Remembrance. It was not the first presentation of the mobile boxes, because they were already made available in Gdańsk, but the Vocational School Complex is the first school in the Podlaskie Voivodeship to join this project. The event took place thanks to the initiative of Grzegorz Zalewski, deputy head of the Vocational School Complex.

Youth interested in immersive learning

The presented projects of the IPN’s New Technology Division enjoyed great interest among young people. The game “Aviators – War in the Skies” created using Virtual Reality technology attracted the greatest attention of the students. Thanks to it, young people learned more about the designs of planes used by Polish airmen fighting during World War II.

As part of the classes, the school was visited by Urszula Gierasimiuk, head of the Branch Office of National Education of the Institute of National Remembrance in Białystok, accompanied by office employees.
